Call for Proposals: Local Capital Mobilization Research Project
9 September 2025
The Catalytic Climate Finance (CC) Facility Learning Hub has opened a call for proposals on Local Capital Mobilization Research project.
The CC Facility Learning Hub are looking to build upon the knowledge from a forthcoming report on local capital mobilization, by engaging with local institutions on research related to knowledge gaps in mobilizing domestic capital for blended climate finance transactions in emerging markets and developing economies (EMDE).
The Learning Hub seeks to commission research that may develop local ecosystem capacity, illustrate how to increase local capital into blended climate finance initiatives, and offer practical insight that can ultimately support grantees of the CC Facility.
The selected institute will be required to prepare, in collaboration with the CC Facility Learning Hub team, a research question within their expertise that can help address challenges associated with mobilizing local capital into blended climate transactions.
If you are interested in applying, please read through the Request for Proposals guidance document and send an Intent to Submit by September 12th, 2025 with a full proposal submission by October 3rd, 2025.
