New Clean Energy Brief: Powering an Inclusive Energy Future

As the clean energy transition gains momentum, it vital to ensure that the clean energy transition is fair and inclusive. Under Brazil’s 2024 G20 presidency, countries endorsed principles that call for addressing inequalities and ensuring women and youth are active participants in the shift to renewable energy. Turning these goals into action remains difficult. Barriers like unequal access, employment gaps, and limited financing for small, women- and youth-led businesses persist.
This Briefing Note outlines key steps to help make the transition inclusive for all.
